ONGC overtakes RIL to be the mostly valued Indian Company

The three mostly valued Indian companies are fighting with each other to gin the top spot in the list with continuous reshuffle in the ranking for last two weeks. Yesterday, state run ONGC has replaced Reliance Industries Limited to be the mostly valued Indian company based on the closing price of their share. RIL had first crossed ONGC in 2006 to be the mostly valued Indian Company, which it held since then.

Now Reliance is at number two position in the list followed by Coal India Limited. Just couple of days back, Coal India gained the top spot replacing RIL which was very much short lived with RIL regaining the top spot after just 6 days. After that ONGC comes to topmost position for now. The differences in their market caps are very less now and they will change their ranks among them in the coming days because of lots of current market volatility.
