The government has approved disinvestment of 5% of its stake in state run power equipment maker BHEL in order to fetch around Rs 4,320 crore.

Congress and BJP fought at the parliament yesterday on the issue of Gujarat Lokayukta. Gujarat governor has appointed Gujarata Lokayukta bypassing the Narendra Modi Government which has created the stir between the parties.

Indian Car maker Maruti Suzuki has resumed assembly operations at its Manesar unit today as the production was halted two days ago. But the standoff between management and workers over signing of a bond of good conduct is still present and expected to disrupt production again.
