Gold fell after Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke showed confidence in US economic fundamentals and said that growth will resume soon. He has also ignored possibility of another round of stimulus now which has eroded the appeal of haven investments like Gold.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has dismissed the bail petitions of former Satyam founder and Chairman Mr B. Ramalinga Raju and seven other accused in the multi-crore Satyam Computer Services accounting fraud.

Indian IT Company Tech Mahindra plans to merge with Mahindra Satyam and has appointed banker for the same.

Former Mindtree founder and Chairman Mr Ashok Soota, who is now the Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies Pvt Ltd, has announced a 10-member leadership team. Some of them are his former colleagues from MindTree.
