1. Htin Kyaw, member of Aung San Suu Kyi-s National League for Democracy party, was sworn in as Myanmar-s new presidentafter more than five decades of military rulein the country, scripting a new history today. As first civilian president of the country in last 50 years, he succeeds former general Thein Sein, who has ruled the country since 2011.

2. UNICEF has launched a series of animated films named as -Unfairy Tales- to help frame positive perceptions towards the tens of millions of children and young people on the move globally. These three animations -true stories of the flight of children from conflict - explain the horror behind why they fled. The Unfairy Tales are part of an initiative, actofhumanity, emphasising that children are children, no matter where they come from, and that every child has rights and deserves a fair chance.
