1. China's economic growth dropped to 6.9% for the third quarter of the current year, which puts more pressure on policymakers and raises concern about the world-s second largest economy. This is the lowest growth in last six years and slightly lower than Economic growth stood of 7% in the previous quarter.

2. World-s top seeded tennis player Novak Djokovic won the 2015 Shanghai Rolex Masters tennis title in the men-s singles category after defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga by 6-2 6-4 in the final match held in Shanghai, China on 18th October. It was the third Shanghai title for Djokovic in four years.

Apart from the Grand slam titles in Australia Open, the Wimbledon and the USA Open, he won six other titles in the 2015 season that include Indian Wells Masters, Miami Open, Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, Italian Open,  China Open and Shanghai Open.
