1. World Number One Novak Djokovic has retained the Australian Open Men's Singles Title after he defeated UK-s Andy Murray in straight sets 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 in the final match played at Melbourne yesterday. With this win, he also equaled the record of Roy Emerson's record of six Australian Open Singles titles.


2. Veteran British actor Frank Finlay has passed away yesterday. He was 89. Finlay was best known for his roles in 'Othello' and 'The Three Musketeers' and was was awarded a CBE gong in 1984 and was popular for his role in the plays 'The Adventures of Don Quixote' and 'Voltaire in Candide'.
