1. Ten Indian Companies have been included in the list of Forbes Asia Fabulous 50 companies. The list was dominated by Chinese Companies where 25 Chinese Companies have made it to the list compared to 16 companies last year. China-s Tencent continued to be at the top on chart, which now worth of USD 176.5 billion.


South Korea has secured third place with four companies while Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines have two companies each and Japan, Indonesia have one firm each on the list.


Indian companies that made to the list are: HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, Aurobindo Pharma, Lupin, Sun Pharma Industries, Motherson Sumi Systems, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors and Titan.


2. The Indian Government has announced that it will infuse Rs 70,000 Crore in Public Sector Banks over a period of four years to improve capital ratio and fight with rising bad loans. The first instalment of Rs 25,000 crore has been marked for this fiscal. The second instalment of Rs 25,000 crore will be in 2016-17, followed by infusion of Rs 10,000 crore each in the third (2017-18), and fourth (2018-19) instalments.


3. Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was awarded with the Arjuna Award which was conferred on him last year by the Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. Ashwin was not present during the Award Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan in August last year due to some ongoing tour in England.
