1. David Cameron has been re-elected as the Prime Minister of UK after winning election. With this he will return as PM for the second consecutive time.

With all 650 seats declared, the Conservatives had won 331, Labour won 232, the SNP won 56 and the Liberal Democrats won 8 seats. In practice 323 Members of Parliament is the number needed to form a majority government.

2. The US economy created 223,000 new jobs in April which is a much better performance compared to last month. The US unemployment rate dropped to a seven-year low of 5.4% in April compared to 5.5% in March, as per US labor department.
