1. World Hepatitis Day was observed across the world on 28th July 2015 with the theme -Prevent hepatitis, Act now-. The day is observed every year to raise awareness about hepatitis and influence real change in disease prevention, testing and treatment.

The observance of the day in 2015 focuses particularly on Hepatitis B and C. These two combined cause approximately 80 percent of all liver cancer deaths and kill close to 1.4 million people every year.

2. German auto giant Volkswagen has become the world's biggest automaker after surpassing Toyota as per total number of cars sold in the first half of the year 2015. Toyota said it sold 5.02 million vehicles worldwide between January and June while Volkswagen sold nearly 5.04 million cars during the same period. US-basedGeneral Motors secured third spot with 4.86 million in sales. 

3. Mexico defeated Jamaica by 3-1 in Gold Cup Final to win the cup for the record third time. Also Mexico-s Andres Guardado became the first player to score in three Gold Cup finals goals.
