China’s trade surplus decreased by 53.5% in January

China’s trade surplus decreased by 53.5% to USD 6.45 billion in January due to steep increase in both export and import data. Export increased by 37.7% in January and imports increased by 51% in January compared to same month last year.

Trade surplus of USD 6.45 billion in January is very low compared to trade surplus of USD 22.7 billion in November and USD 13.1 billion in December.
